IMPORTANT DATES AND INFORMATION:
START DATE:
Sunday, January 10
FALL BOWLING KICK-OFF HAPPY HOUR:
Friday, January 8 @ Mister Days in the loft from 6-9 p.m.
SEASON:
Each team will play 6 regular season games. The season begins Sunday, January 10 and goes through Sunday, February 28. There will be NO games on either Sunday, January 24 or Sunday, February 7 (Super Bowl Sunday). ALL bowling games will start at 3:30 p.m. Play-offs will be held Sunday, February 28. The number of teams that make it to the play-offs will be determined by the AASL.
MAKE-UPS:
If a game is cancelled due to inclement weather, make-up games may be scheduled on the another day than usual game days. Blast emails will be sent to the coaches when games are cancelled, it will be posted on the website, or you can call Megan at (703) 599-2983.
LOCATION:
Bowl America off Edsall Road
FEES:
The costs at Bowl America went up. So the charge this season will be $350.00 per team BUT there will be no additional fees for the number of players. The charge for individuals will be $70.00. You may pay by cash, check or online. If you pay in full online, you will receive a discount. Checks must be made out to AASL.
The league fee includes, 6 games in the AASL bowling league, equipment provided at Bowl America including shoe rental, and AASL bowling t-shirts for every participant.
The $150.00 deposit will be collected at the coaches meeting. The remainder of their balance will be collected at their first game. If the team does not have the remainder of their balance, they will not be allowed to play until they do so and that will count as a forfeit.
If you pay in full online for your team you will receive a $25 discount and only pay a $325 team fee. If you pay online as an individual, you receive a $5 discount and only pay $65 individual fee. This is again if you pay in full online. This is to promote online payments.
