Season Schedule

The 6-week regular season starts the week of April 11, 2010. Athletic Conference games start at approximately 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 1:00 PM. Social Conference games start at approximately 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 5:00 PM. Play-offs will be held Saturday, June 5, 2010. The number of play-off teams will be determined at the start of the season.

Teams

To be eligible, teams must consist of 7 players on the field, of which 3 must be female. The League recommends having no less than 10 players on each team and no more than 14 players on the overall roster.

Fees

Individual players are $65 ($75 late registration). Teams are $525 ($600 late registration) but there are no additional fees for the number of players. The League fee includes 6 regular season games, eligibility for play-off championships, 2 AASL referees per field, all equipment, AASL Football t-shirts for all registered participants, and drink specials after each game.

On-line payments receive a $5 discount for individuals and $25 for teams if paid in full. Otherwise, a $250.00 deposit will be collected during the Registration & Coaches’ meeting. The remainder of the balance will be collected at the first game (if not already paid online). If the team does not have the remainder of their balance, they will not be allowed to play until they do so and that will count as a forfeit.

AASL does not issue refunds.

Residency

Arlington County requires that all participants submit proof of residency (e.g. driver’s license, utilities bill). Non-Arlington County residents are still welcomed but please e-mail jack@playaasl.com to inquire about eligibility.

Congratulations to the Swingers and Da' Misfits...AASL's Winter Football Champs!

The next AASL Football season will be in the Spring on Sundays. The league will begin in late March and registration will open in February.
