The 6 to 7-game regular season begins tentatively the week of April 10, 2012 with games played between 8:00PM and 10:00PM. Games will be played either Tuesday or Wednesday nights.  Speed dodgeball is a variation of dodgeball that’s played inside a racquetball court. Balls are thrown every 2-3 seconds as opposed to 5-10 seconds in a regular dodgeball game. Teams play as many games as possible within a 30-minute period.

• All games use non-sting foam balls
• Racquetball courts result in fast-paced game
• Smaller court where there’s nowhere to hide
• Most games last less than 90 seconds

Teams may field up to 5 players during each game without gender restrictions. The league recommends that teams consist of 8 to 10 players. Free agent teams will consist of no more than 10 players.

The League fee includes 7 to 8 games; 1 referee; t-shirts for all paid participants; all equipment; and access to DCSSC parties and membership perks. Corporate teams will receive 10 t-shirts and may elect to purchase additional t-shirts for $10 each.
